Defining Global Poverty
When first thinking about global poverty, we began by brainstorming words associated with the phrase "global poverty. We came up with the following list:
malnutrition
hunger
corruption
lack of shelter
AIDS
lack of drinking water
corruption
We then looked for definitions on the internet. Some of the definitions we found are:
Finally, we used our own thoughts and research to come with a new definition. We defined global poverty as:
"individuals or a group of individuals not limited by nationality, race, or gender that do not have the means to meet basic needs of survival and freedoms."
Where is global poverty located?
