While our group was researching Russia, one of the most memorable characteristics of the poverty population is that it includes many children. Love’s Bridge is an organization that reaches out to children on the streets of Perm, Russia to provide them with guidance to reintegrate into society. Such guidance leads children to a commitment of education and a drug-free lifestyle, which also combats some of the symptoms prevalent in Russian poverty. Love’s Bridge has rehabilitated many children with the help of funding from both corporate and private donors.

Hey group 2,
I just wanted to comment on your choice of organization. I think the fact that you're focusing on an organization that's geared towards helping children is great. I mean, a big part of the poverty problem is that it's really hard to dig yourself out, especially over generations. Organizations that focus on helping children will hopefully give those in poverty a leg up so that poverty won't have a ripple effect over generations. Nice choice! :)
