Discussion

Hey guys- what are you thinking about the region we should study for our second brochure? An interesting place might be Bangladesh, but it might be one that other groups are interested in doing too because it is where the Grameen Bank was founded. Let's meet sometime this week to start discussing some different options -Ed

Hey guys,

I think a lot of the regions people are going to be looking at will be around Africa and then some parts of Asia. Yesterday Amy and I were talking about maybe doing something different like around central America or South America. We thought about Haiti, but we thought it might be difficult to analyze economically since the country does not have much of a structure, politically, economically, or really anything. Lets meet some time soon to get started. - Amanda

Hey Group 4,

Just wanted to say I REALLY liked your brochure. It was incredibly professional in terms of layout. I think it's really cool how you guys had the semi-transparent pictures in the background! You also used the graphs effectively (didn't just throw them in whenever you mentioned stats) and I also really liked the quotes you used. Good BLUF in terms of stating the main causes of poverty up front, and good addition of mentioning organizations that are working to help end poverty in Sudan. Very impressive!
